Experience:
2-4 years of experience in Pharma analytics/consulting with hands-on experience in delivering Payer Analytics projects
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Payer Marketing teams to build a deep understanding of the managed markets environment for assigned products
- Consult with managed market leadership to formulate strategy, identify potential tactical initiatives, enhance promotional programs, and develop metrics for measuring/improving
program execution - Understand pharmaceutical ecosystem and data sets including formulary (ex. MMIT, DRG FF), prescription (ex. IQVIA NPA), outlet (ex. IQVIA DDD), claims (ex. Symphony, DRG
Claims, IQVIA LAAD, Mckesson, Flatiron, FocalPoint) - Understand the client business requirements and translate it into analytics problem and develop business rules, process flow and methodology for analysis
- Provide integrated analysis combining multiple primary and secondary data sources to uncover deep insights that will guide payer, access, and reimbursement strategies
- Operate delivery execution. This includes processing the data, summarizing the insights, performing quality checks, and creating error free deliverables
- Effectively communicate insights and information to a broad group of stakeholders through exceptional oral and written communication
- Incorporate process changes in response to evolving business needs. Identify and implement business process enhancements
- Mentor, guide, and coach new joiners/analysts in the team
- Play an active role in building the Payer Analytics practice and contribute to the development of thought leadership pieces in the space
Required Skills
- 2-4 years of analytics or consulting experience in Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences domain.
Prior experience in Payer analytics is must - Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to effectively collaborate with client stakeholders
- Experience in working on data querying languages (ex. SQL, MySQL, PL/SQL), visualization tools (ex. Tableau, Qlik View, Power BI). Good to have – Python, R, SPSS etc.,
- Well versed in advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrate proficiency with secondary data sources – formulary (ex. MMIT, DRG FF), prescription (ex. IQVIA NPA), outlet (ex. IQVIA DDD), claims (ex. Symphony, DRG Claims, LAAD) and integrate therapeutic area & customer knowledge into analytic interpretations and recommendations
- High degree of analytical and problem-solving skills with strong understanding of business strategies
