Principal Consultant – BI Analytics

Required Skills:-

  • 8- 10 years of professional experience is required
  • Must be well verse with Advanced SQL and Visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikSense, PowerBI, Spotfire)

Technically Strong:

  • Must – Experience in working on database query (SQL)
  • Must – Experience in working and hands on experience of at least 2 visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikSense, PowerBI, Spotfire)
  • Must – Experience in designing dashboards, reports and storyboards from scratch including Metric finalization and Visualizations Choices
  • Ability to find workarounds of the limitations of the BI tool to implement the required functionality
  • Must – Experience in setting up automated report/dashboard refresh on server with working knowledge of BI Tool server (User Onboarding, User Access/Role Setup, Performance Monitoring etc.)
  • Good to have – R, SAS, SPSS, Python etc.
  • Must – Exposure to Pharma / Healthcare Analytics
  • Have had extensive experience in working on Sales Data (IQVIA DDD, Xponent, 867, SHA Prescriber Source and Other equivalent dataset), Call Activity Data, Market Access, Patient Support Programs, Marketing Data
  • Has Knowledge of Patient level data (RWD Data Lake, Humedica through redshift, Optum/ DRG Claims)

Roles & Responsibility

  • Provide insights through data analyses and visualization for small to large datasets
  • Ability to translate a business questions into analytics problem to develop business rules, process flow and metric finalization for final report/dashboard
  • Analyses to include tabulations/summarizing as well as using basic statistical methods
  • The ability to effectively engage with clients and to cater to their needs
  • Manage a team and to properly assign tasks and segregate work in a manner that ensures efficiency 
  • To guide and, if necessary, train members of the team to accomplish tasks on time
  • Take charge and over-see entire projects; providing end-to-end support and leadership
